Take the M5 to Exeter and then follow the A380 to Newton Abbot and then onto Torquay.
At the end of the A380 at Newton Abbot follow the main road into Torquay.
At the Hamlyn Way roundabout do not turn right for Paignton but follow the road on into Torquay.
From this roundabout pass through 5 sets of traffic lights, turn right at the next set of lights with Halfords and Torre railway station on your right.
Follow this road (Avenue Road) to the Sea Front at this set of light turn right for the Palace Hotel. Travel along the Sea Front road keeping left at all times.
After about 2.5 miles the Palace Hotel will be on your right in the middle of Paignton main seafront area.
